Inez I. Trouten

 Inez I. Trouten, age 95, of Platteville , WI died on December 17, 2009, at her home. She was born on August 5, 1914, the daughter of Wallace and Anna (Paul) Fisk in Cresco , IA. Inez graduated from Cresco High School . She was united in marriage to Leonard H. Trouten on November 29, 1940. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2003. Together they owned and operated a retail business in Harmony, MN. Inez was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also active with many civic groups, including the Rebecca Lodge. Inez was accomplished in needlework and ceramics.

Inez is survived by her son, William Wally (Gayle) Trouten, Platteville; two grandchildren: James Trouten, Winona, MN and Anna (John) Hilfer, Platteville; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard and her sister, Marjorie Howard.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009 at Harmony United Methodist Church in Harmony with Reverend Michael Smith officiating. Burial was held in the State Line Cemetery, Harmony Township , MN . Visitation was held from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home in Platteville, WI and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Monday at the church.
