Herbert "Ken" Saam

CASSVILLE – Herbert “Ken” Saam, age 84, of Cassville, Wisconsin passed away on November 16, 2022. He was born February 9, 1938, to Herbert Sr. and Helen (Reifsteck) Saam in Dubuque, Iowa. Ken served our country in the Navy for four years, leaving right out of high school. On August 19, 1961, he was united in marriage to Ann Brinkmann in Cassville. Ken worked at Nelson Dewey Generating Station, where he stayed until his retirement.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ann; three children: David (Jodi) Saam, Diane Saam, and Susan (Jim) Reichenbach; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three step grandchildren; four great-step grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two siblings.

In keeping with Ken’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services held. The family would like to thank the staff at Lancaster Health Services and St. Croix Hospice. Any donations can be made out to the Cassville Park Preservation. Martin Schwartz Funeral Homes in Cassville is assisting the family.
