January 12, 1933 — December 12, 2016

Platteville

Hannahmarie (Webb) Horsfall, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2016, at Manor Care in Platteville, after 8 years of dialysis treatment at Tri-State Dialysis in Platteville. She was born January 12, 1933, the daughter of Thomas and Florence (Slater) Webb, Sr. Hannahmarie graduated from Lancaster High School in 1951. She was employed in Savannah, IL, then traveled to Chicago and found work as a secretary for Continental Life and Casualty Insurance Company. During her trips back to visit family she met Calvin "Chester" Horsfall, and they married on March 16, 1963. Together they resided in Bloomington and raised their two daughters Sally and Linda. Hannahmaries greatest attribute was her willingness to do for others. This was evident in her 22 year career as a CNA at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster. She also served as a Little Grant 4-H club leader. Sports were not a huge love for her, but she loved every moment of sitting in the bleachers and cheering on her daughters when they played for the Bloomington Bluejays. Hannahmarie found even more pleasure watching her grandsons play football for the Lancaster Flying Arrows. She also made sure that each of her children and grandchildren made it to Wrigley Field to cheer on the Chicago Cubs. Hannahmarie was a beautiful lady inside and out. May her legacy of kindness live on in all the lives she touched.

Surviving is her husband Chester of 53 years, who faithfully cared for her until she became a resident at Manor Care. Two daughters; Sally Hanson, Dodgeville, Linda (Carl) Ihm , Lancaster. Her life was blessed with four grandsons, Stephen (Chelsey), Daniel, Matthew, and Jacob Ihm, two granddaughters, Rachel Ihm and Dana Hanson. A smile always appeared on Grandma Hannah's face when she saw her two great-granddaughter's: Georgia and Ruby Ihm. Also surviving is a sister Audery (Herman) Kruse and a brother Tom Webb, Jr. and nieces and nephews.

Hannahmarie was preceded in death by her parents, and her stepfather Earl Dailey.
