Florence E. Herbers

Florence “Herbie” Elizabeth Herbers, age 92, of West Chicago, IL, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020. She was born on May 5, 1927, in Bloomington, WI, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Klostermann) Herbers. Florence retired as a nurse for Veteran’s Administration Hospital. She was a longtime resident of West Chicago, IL and member of St. Mary’s Church in West Chicago.

Florence is survived by her sister-in-law, Marge (Esser) Herbers, wife of John; brother-in-law, Robert Horne, husband of Catherine; many nieces, nephews, their families, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Bernard Herbers, Rose Breuer, John Herbers, Reverend Charles Herbers, Henrietta Sanders, Edward Herbers, and Catherine Horne; dear friends, Patricia A. Fleming and Elinor Parsons.

Visitation will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington, WI on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Resurrection following the visitation. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bloomington, WI. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Bloomington is entrusted with her care.
