Donna D. Hocking

Donna D. Hocking, age 51, died on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born in Watertown, South Dakota on May 16, 1959, the daughter of Gordon and Louellen Teeters. She belonged to a family of 3 children: two brothers, Scott and Lane Teeters. She attended grade school in South Dakota. The family moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where Donna graduated from high school. Donna attended Business College in Rockford, Illinois.

Donna married Bruce Hocking in July 25, 1983 in Darlington WI. They have two children, Brandon and Cali. The family farmed near Potosi. Donna worked at Silva Arrow Trucking Co. for 5 years, and also Swiss Colony in Dickeyville. Donna enjoyed going to Bingo with her mom and going to NASCAR races with her husband, Bruce. Donna loved animals mainly Black and white cows which decorated the kitchen and her life. Donna loved the time she spent with her children, family and friends.

Survived by her husband Bruce of Potosi; her son, Brandon of Shullsburg; her daughter, Cali of Potosi; her father, Gordon of Whitehall, MT; her brother, Lane of San Francisco, CA; and many nieces and nephews who love her dearly and that will always love and miss her.

Funeral services were held on Friday, December 10, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Orchard Manor Nursing Home Chapel in Lancaster with Pastor Chuck Miller officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
