Dolores M. Williams, age 72, of Cassville, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at her home. She was born on May 14, 1935, in Lancaster, the daughter of Carl and Nettie (Atkinson) Hochhausen. Dee graduated from Lancaster High School. In 1957, she was united in marriage to Jim Williams. Dee had five children and was employed at the Dubuque Pack. She later owned and operated Someplace Else Tavern in Potosi. Dee moved to Cassville in 1988 and was employed at Rapid Dye and later, Swiss Colony. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, boating, camping and traveling with her special friend, Arnie. Dee truly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and having a good time with family and friends.
Survivors include her children: Randy Williams, Potosi; Lisa Scholl, Potosi; her mother, Nettie Schaefer, Lancaster; her special friend, Arnie Junk, Cassville; six grandchildren: Ronnie (Brittney) Scholl, Cassville; Kyle, Luke, and Logan Scholl, Potosi; Maggie and Gunther Williams, Potosi; one great-grandchild, Cameron Scholl, Cassville; Arnies children: LuAnn Biba, Arthur; Bruce Junk, West Palm Beach, FL; other relatives and many friends.
Dee was preceded in death by her father and her three children: Johnny, Ronnie, and Rita; and Arnies son, David Junk.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father John Norder officiating. Burial was at a later date. Friends called on Thursday, May 8, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 9, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the Martin Funeral Home in Cassville.
