Diane M. Ploessl

Diane Mary Ploessl age 63, of Madison, formerly of Cassville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her home. Diane was born on January 10, 1960, in Dubuque, IA, the only daughter of Clifford and Helen (Vondrum) Ploessl. Diane worked for many years for the State of Wisconsin, beginning at the former Central Colony, the Wisconsin Department of Commerce and retiring from the Department of Safety & Professional Services. Diane was very athletic and had enjoyed participating in softball, basketball, volleyball, and bowling. She was an Avid Badger, Brewer, and Green Bay Packers Fan.

Diane is survived by her Beloved "Aunt" Mary Vondrum, brothers, David (Vicki), Kenneth (Mary), Robert (Cathy), Thomas, Douglas (Cindy), Ronald (Jenifer), Gregory (Rhonda), Daniel (Steven Keip) Ploessl; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Patrick, sister-in-law, Anne Ploessl

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Cassville, with Father Gregory Ihm officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Friday at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
