Dale E. Kirschbaum, age 61, of Dubuque, IA and formerly of Bloomington, WI, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. He was born July 12, 1955, the son of Pete and Delores (Mumm) Kirschbaum. Dale graduated from Bloomington High School 1973. He was employed at Tri County Structures and Bloomington Produce - Kent Feeds. Dale drove gravel truck and travel buses, and was currently employed at Keystone Automotive and as carrier for the Dubuque Telegraph Herald. He enjoyed softball, golf, travel, and gambling. Dale was an avid sports fan, especially the Chicago Bears and New York Yankees. He dearly loved spending time with his children and his three grandsons, Jude, Luke, and Eli.

Surviving are his daughter Candice (Eric) Buss, his son Tom (fiancee' Kristina Pintz) Kirschbaum, three grandsons; Jude, Luke, and Eli Buss; his parents, Pete and Delores Kirschbaum, siblings; Alan (Ann) Kirschbaum, Martin (Janet) Kirschbaum, and Janet (Rod) Kinyon; his former wife, Terri Redman; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington, with Fr. John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Family and friends called on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington, and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory of Bloomington is assisting the family. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Dale E. Kirschbaum memorial fund has been established.
