Carolyn A. Chapman

MOLINE, IL – Carolyn A. Chapman, age 90, of Moline, IL, formerly of Lancaster, passed away at her home on October 4, 2024. She was born September 28, 1934, in Crystal Falls Township, Michigan, the daughter of Frederick C. and Anita (Barcity) Hill. On October 8, 1950, Carolyn was united in marriage to Mason F. Chapman at the Lancaster United Methodist Church. She had been a longtime resident of Lancaster, then moved with Mason to Moline, when her husband went to work for John Deere. Carolyn enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her daughter Linda.

Surviving is her daughter: Linda, and other relatives and friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents: Frederick and Anita, and her beloved husband Mason, on September 30, 2009.

Private family graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the Seventh Day Adventist Waterloo Township Cemetery. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
