Calvin Cornell Haas

Calvin Cornell Haas, born on January 27, 2010, infant son of Dr. Nathaniel & Jeanna Haas, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 at UW Hospital & Clinics, Madison, WI, due to complications following a recent heart surgery. Calvin is survived by his parents, Nate & Jeanna, his sister Sophia, all of Spring Green, WI, his grandparents Gary & Chris Haas and Joe & Julie Budworth, both of Lancaster, WI, great grandparents Martha Wetter, Cuba City, WI, Maurice Landon and John & Marcella Budworth, all of Lancaster, WI, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is joined in heaven by family members who preceded him, including his great grandparents Charlotte Landon, Robert Wetter, and Aloys and Bernadine Haas, as well as his uncle Jacob Haas.

Funeral services were held on Friday, April 23, 2010, at St. Clements Catholic Church, Lancaster, WI, at 1:00 p.m. with Father William Seipp and Father William Nolan officiating. Visitation was from 11:00AM until time of services at the church. A luncheon followed in the church basement immediately following the service. Burial will be held at a later date. Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster is assisting the family.

Although Calvins stay with us was a brief 83 days, he touched the lives of so many, including his family and friends, along with the excellent nursing and physician staff who provided care for him at American Family Childrens Hospital, Pediatric and Cardiac Department, in Madison, WI. He will be especially missed by his adoring big sister who will forever feel his guiding presence. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Calvins honor.
