Brian Theisen

Brian J. Theisen, age 42, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017, at his residence. He was born December 14, 1974, the son of Ralph and Donna (Adrian) Theisen, at Xavier Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Brian graduated from Cassville High School in 1992. He worked with his father, Ralph, learning many mechanical skills, such as welding and painting. Brian also worked at Schuller's in Dubuque and was currently employed at Archer Daniels Midland in Cassville as a welder. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic and love for his family.

Survivors include his sons: Hunter and Andrew Theisen; his mother, Donna Theisen; loving companion, Heather Millard and her children, Kyler and Kiara Hefty; his siblings: Todd (Brandy)Theisen, Tami (Jim Buetow) Soppe, and Dan (Amanda) Haas; nieces and nephews: Moria, Otto, BJ, Shawna, Tawney, Rosalynn and Austin; many members of the Theisen and Adrian family.

He was preceded in death by his father Ralph; paternal grandparents: Otto (Mary) Theisen; maternal grandparents: Francis (Pearl) Adrian; uncles: Bill, Nick and Randy Adrian; his aunt, Kay Johnstone.

Family and Friends called on Monday, March 20, 2017, from 4:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory, 313 Fredtrick St., Cassville. Private family funeral services were held at a later date. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Brian J. Theisen memorial fund has been established.
