Bonnie M. Leeser

Bonnie M. Leeser, age 66, of Potosi, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Grant Regional Health Center, Lancaster. She was born on October 21, 1950, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Brawner) Leeser. Bonnie graduated from Potosi High School in 1968. After graduation, she was employed at Brodbeck Enterprises (Dick's) where she worked for many years until her retirement. Bonnie was the link that held her family close. She enjoyed Elvis, Barbies, Tweety, cake decorating often creating masterpieces, GTO's, stock car racing, Dale Jr., sewing, collecting, Green Bay Packers, and spending time with family and friends, especially during Christmas and other holidays.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Horner, Potosi; siblings: Betty Leeser, Honolulu, HI; Alan (Paulette) Horner, Maquoketa, IA; Ruthie Horner, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; Anita (Rod) Blindert, Potosi; Becky (Walt) Burbach, Hazel Green; nieces and nephews: Melissa Horner (Doug Berger), Omaha, NE; Christopher (Jennifer) Horner, Earlham, IA; Joy (Jake) Droessler, Potosi; Lance Butson (Taylor Gabel), Darlington; Krystal Butson (Anthony Steinbach), Platteville; Ashley Blindert (Ryan Kisting), Benton; great-nieces and nephews: Riley and Kylee Droessler, Ava and Alhana Horner, Carter Butson; several cousins and extended family members.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her fathers, Robert Leeser and Virgil Horner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Potosi with Father Richard Leffler officiating. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Potosi. Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 24, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. where a 4:00 p.m. rosary will be prayed at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Potosi. Friends may also call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Potosi is serving the family.
