Bonita I. Bonnie Waldman, age 56, of Stitzer, died on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at her home. She was born on November 9, 1952, in Iowa, the daughter of James and Tillie (Sauvell) Allington. In 1970, Bonnie graduated from Seneca High School. She furthered her education at the University of Wisconsin at Platteville. On September 14, 1985, Bonnie was united in marriage to Gary W. Waldman at the Seneca Lutheran Church. She was employed at various jobs in Gays Mills, Rolling Ground and Boscobel. Bonnie enjoyed reading and being outdoors. She loved her animals and feeding all the wild birds.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Waldman, Stitzer; her father, James Allington, Soldiers Grove; her brother, Kory Allington, Seneca; two sisters: Betty (Kenny) Kroll, Milwaukee, and their daughter Jennifer; Brenda (Charles) Hiam, Ferryville, and their daughter, Karie; sisters-in-law, Shirley Bryant, Benton; Carol (Larry) Mayhew, Spring Green; two brothers-in-law: Larry (Janet) Waldman, Stitzer; Jerry (Sandy) Waldman, Stitzer;; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers, Ken and Keith Allington; her mother and father-in-law, Hilda and Carl Waldman; and a brother-in-law, Donald Bryant.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster with Rev. Mark Dieter officiating. Burial was in Liberty Ridge Cemetery, Liberty Ridge. Friends called on Saturday, November 7, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
