Beverly E. "Bev" Hampton, age 61, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Grant Regional Health Center, Lancaster. She was born on January 19, 1960, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Kane) Moore, Sr. Bev attended Potosi High School. On May 27, 1989, she was united in marriage to Bruce Hampton at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glen Haven. Bev was employed at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in the dietary department for 15 years and later in housekeeping. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Bev enjoyed bowling, watching WWE, Green Bay Packer games, and listening to Garth Brooks. She cherished her family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce; a daughter, Jessica Hampton; a son, Adam (Destiny Blair) Hampton; her siblings: Kathy (Roger) Udelhoven; Michael (Nancy) Moore; John (Susan) Moore, Jr.; Norene Moore; Debrea (John) Freisinger; Roger Moore; Christine (Allen) Caley; her father-in-law, Lee Hampton; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gary (Becky); Dave (Carol); Bill Hampton; Cindy (Chuck) Humphrey; Tim and Dan (Kari) Hampton; Roger (Darla) Kirschbaum; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Rosemary "Rosie" Hampton; a niece, Jessica Schwendinger; nephews: Brian Schwendinger, Anthony Udelhoven, Donald Klein; a great-nephew, Dalton DuCharme; a brother-in-law, Wayne Hampton; two sisters-in-law, Janet Kirschbaum and Renee Hampton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster at 11:00 a.m. with Father William Vernon officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery, Waterloo Township. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Beverly E. Hampton Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
