Betty Hall

Betty L. (Schramm) Hall, age 79, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, rural Lancaster. She was born January 7, 1937 the daughter of Walter and Ila (Clauer) Schramm. Betty attended Lancaster High School and graduated from Southwest Technical College. She was employed and the Lancaster Care Center and Orchard Manor Nursing Home. Betty also operated the Anchor Inn and Don's Antique and Junque in Fennimore. She worked hard and raised eight children. Betty enjoyed wallpapering and refinishing furniture.

Surviving are her sons; Howard, Mike, Brian (Gail) and Mark Hall, siblings; Donna Irish, Charles (Nancy) Schramm, Ruth Pluemer, Walter "Bronc" (Lennie) Schramm Jr., Karen Eck, Douglas (Pat), Gregory (Carol), Tim (Theresa) Schramm, and Kim (Leonard) Jerrett, 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her children, David, Julie, Daniel, Ronald, her brother in laws; Keith Irish, Virgil Eck, and James Pluemer.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster, with Fr. Richard Leffler officiating. Burial was in the British Hollow Cemetery, rural Potosi. Friends called on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family.

In lieu of plants and flowers, a Betty L. Hall memorial fund has been established.
