Berneal G. Glass, age 92, of Cassville, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at her home. She was born on November 28, 1919, in Genoa, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Inez (McLees) Jambois. On September 20, 1939, Berneal was united in marriage to Robert Blair Glass, Sr., at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. In 1952, Berneal and Robert moved to Cassville. She was employed at Rapid Die and Molding in Cassville for many years. Berneal was a lifetime member of the Cassville Womens Club, Cassville Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star and St. Charles Catholic Church. Berneal and Bob loved to square dance in the tri-state area. Dancing was a great joy to them where they made many friends. Her greatest joy was keeping up with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their activities. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and gardening.

Survivors include her children: Judith (Gene) Lorenz, Rice Lake; Robert (Raenette) Glass, Jr., Geneseo, IL; Joann Glass and Jeffery (Mary) Glass, all of Cassville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia (Valdo) Stoda, Tomah; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Comp, Buda, IL.

Berneal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, and great-granddaughters, Meghan and Mallory Glass.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in Cassville Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends called on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Funeral Home in Cassville is assisting the family. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Berneal G. Glass memorial fund has been established.
