MCGREGOR, IA - Anna M Quick, age 91, of McGregor, IA formally of Mt. Hope, WI, died November 17, 2020 at Great River Care Center in McGregor. She was born on July 7, 1929, in Prairie du Chien, the second daughter of Louis and Caroline (Harvat) Wagner. She grew up in Wauzeka, attended school there and graduated as valedictorian of her class in 1947. Anna married William Glen Quick on December 29, 1947 in La Crosse, WI. They farmed together in the Bagley and Blakes Prairie area until Bill was stricken with polio in 1959. Drastic changes had to be made so in 1962 they purchased a small acreage in Mt. Hope and moved there.

Surviving are her four daughters: Marjorie (Roger) White, Fennimore; Virginia (Bruce) Welsh, Blue River; Debra (Steve) Zimmerman, Patch Grove; and Kathy (Mark) Eggebakken, West Salem. She also has 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Anna also has 2 surviving sisters: Mary Chunat, Wauzeka and Lois Duha, Fennimore; and a brother-in-law, Charles Quick, Prairie du Chien, many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill on July 12, 2004, her parents, 1 sister, 6 brothers-in-law, and 4 sisters-in-law beside many other family and friends.

Private grave side services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Union Nagle Cemetery, Patch Grove Township, with Reverend Mary Ann Floerke officiating. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Bloomington is assisting the family.
