 Adam B. Nemitz, age 27, of  Lancaster, died as a result of an automobile accident on Saturday, March 29, 2008, in  Beetown Township. He was born on August 12, 1980, in Lancaster, the son of Jeffrey and Mary Jo (Curtis) Nemitz. Adam graduated from  Lancaster High School in 1999. He married Abbie J. Mueller on December 20, 2005, in  Lancaster. He was employed as a Mine Supervisor for Pattison Brothers Sand Company in  Clayton,  IA. Adam was a loving father and son. He loved the outdoors. Adam enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, boating, skiing, snowmobiling, and hunting. His love for the outdoors and family gave him the opportunity to establish a forever lasting bond with his father, brothers, and countless family and friends. Adams time spent on his farmette with his son, Collin, and his faithful dog, Ruby, were his highest priorities. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his former wife, Abbie and their son, Collin of Cassville; his father, Jeff (Faith) Nemitz, Lancaster; his mother, Mary Jo Curtis, Clayton, IA; his brothers: Matt (Misty) Nemitz and Andy Nemitz both of Lancaster; a sister: Destinie Lepsch and her sons, Sydney and Logan Lepsch, all of Marion; his step-father, Don Goen, Appleton; grandmothers: Marilou Nemitz and Constance Reynolds, both of Lancaster; mother-in-law, Jenny (Ron Schara) Patton, MT; father-in-law, Kevin Mueller, AZ.

Adam was preceded in death by a son, Dylan James; grandparents, Ronald Nemitz, Delano Reynolds, Don and Flourence Curtis and life long friend, DJ Heiligenthal.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at Schwartz Funeral Home in Lancaster with Rev. Mary Ann Floerke officiating. Burial was in Hurricane  Cemetery, S. Lancaster Township. Friends called on  Tuesday, April 1, 2008, from  4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Schwartz Funeral Home in  Lancaster and from 9:30 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday.
